No one hurt in DC officer-involved shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — No one was hurt after a Saturday officer-involved shooting in Northwest D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Officers responded at 2:20 a.m. to reports of a domestic disturbance in a home in the 600 block of Newton Place, NW.

As police worked to de-escalate the incident, the suspect pulled out a gun, to which officers loudly commanded her to drop the weapon.
