Coming Soon: New Buc-ee’s in Benton, Arkansas

Construction is officially underway on Arkansas’s first Buc-ee’s, located off Interstate 30 in Benton. The site broke ground in April 2025 with what local officials called the largest groundbreaking ceremony in the company’s history.

What’s Being Built

The future Buc-ee’s in Benton will sit near Exit 114 on Interstate 30, at the intersection with Highway 229. Construction began in April 2025, and crews have already started shaping the land for a 75,000-square-foot travel center with over 120 fuel pumps.

City leaders expect the store to bring 200 to 250 jobs and attract 3 to 5 million annual visitors, many from out of state. The project includes new infrastructure to handle future traffic increases, with Buc-ee’s planning to open the store in September 2026.

Site Conditions and Timeline

The store is being built on previously undeveloped land, now undergoing major grading and drainage work. Recent views from I‑30 show active construction, with earthmoving equipment and silt barriers visible across the site.

Located just northwest of the I-30 and Highway 229 interchange, the property offers prime highway visibility and easy access. Updated street views and satellite imagery confirm significant progress, with a large pad now taking shape for the main building.
