Santa Ana, CA (June 15, 2025) – A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and multiple vehicles, including a big rig, occurred on the night of June 15 on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 just south of Jamboree Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident took place around 10:06 p.m. when a motorcyclist, who had reportedly been riding recklessly and weaving through traffic, collided with a black SUV. The impact sent the rider crashing hard into the vehicle, causing a chain reaction that involved a white 18-wheeler, a blue BMW X1, and additional passenger vehicles.
Emergency responders from CHP and Caltrans quickly responded to the chaotic scene, where the motorcyclist was found lying in the #3 lane.
