What’s Closed in Amarillo for Juneteenth
The City of Amarillo has announced its closings for Juneteenth. The offices and services that will be closed are:

Changes to Amarillo City Transit

On the City Transit website, there is a section dedicated to holiday service. According to the website, they will be running on a Saturday schedule for Juneteenth.
Trash and Landfill Holiday Schedule
Trash collection services in Amarillo will follow an adjusted schedule. There are some differences in how residential and commercial routes will run.
- Residential Routes for Thursday will run on Wednesday.
- Commercial Routes for Thursday will run on Wednesday and Friday.
- Curbside collection will be closed on Thursday and will start again on Friday.
The landfill will be closed on Thursday for Juneteenth.
Golf Courses and Brush Site Hours
Brush sites are open 8 AM to 12 PM every day except Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail golf complexes will have normal hours.
