Two men are dead after two separate early morning shootings in New Orleans.
The first happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday on Bienville Street near North Galvez Street in the city’s hospital district. Responding police officers found a 62-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. An EMS crew took that man to a hospital, where he later died.
About 30 minute later, police responded to a shooting in the Lower Ninth Ward. It happened on North Prieur Street at St. Maurice Avenue. Police learned someone drove the victim to a hospital, where staff pronounced him dead…
