Alaska State Troopers shot and killed a man on Saturday who they say was hiding in a camper in Houston and pulled a gun on them.
Troopers said they had been searching the property around 11:30 p.m. to find and arrest Kyle Lambert, 34, on a felony warrant. Court records show Lambert, of Wasilla, was sought on a $5,000 warrant issued Wednesday for violating his conditions of release on October theft and drug charges.
“Troopers located (Lambert) hiding in a camper on the property, which he refused to exit despite the troopers’ orders to do so,” troopers said in an online report. “As troopers entered the camper to arrest (him), he produced a handgun.”…
