Jack Wagner Embraces Unconventional Newlywed Life

Veteran soap opera star Jack Wagner, 65, recently revealed he and his new wife, singer-songwriter Michelle Wolf, are embracing a less traditional approach to married life – they’re maintaining separate residences.

“It’s kind of cool,” Wagner shared in a recent interview. He explained that they both feel comfortable in their own homes and enjoy going back and forth. “We’ve decided, let’s not rock the boat,” he added, suggesting they prefer to avoid the upheaval of merging households.

Wagner, best known for his roles on “General Hospital” and “Melrose Place,” stated that married life hasn’t significantly altered their established routines. “We’re kind of living the life we lived when we dated,” he remarked, emphasizing the couple’s appreciation for personal space.

This arrangement echoes a growing trend among older couples. A recent study indicated that older couples living apart often report better mental well-being than single individuals. Relationship experts suggest this is because older individuals have more established routines and a stronger sense of self, making merging households potentially more challenging.

Wagner was previously married to his “General Hospital” co-star Kristina Wagner, and was later engaged to “Melrose Place” co-star Heather Locklear.
