NYPD: Early-morning Staten Island raid nets pills, scale with cocaine, financial records

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 53-year-old man faces felony drug charges after police discovered pills, drug paraphernalia tainted with cocaine and financial records in his bedroom nightstand during a raid in New Dorp, authorities allege.

Anthony Iovine was arrested by police after officers armed with a search warrant swarmed a home on the 600 block of New Dorp Lane on May 15 at about 5:25 a.m.
