LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — The Lafayette Parish School System has announced what it calls a “strategic restructuring” of its Special Education Department leadership.
In a news release the district said its new two-pronged leadership model divides oversight between compliance and instruction, which is “designed to better serve the diverse and growing needs of students with exceptionalities across Lafayette Parish.”
