On Sunday, officials arrested a man accused of shooting at Hughes Springs homeowners last Saturday. Morris County Sheriff Jack Martin says a man came up to a home and demanded to use their vehicle and fired several shots inside the residence when the owner refused his demands. The suspect later kicked in someone’s front door, demanded the keys to their car, and shot a woman in the leg when she refused. He then stole the vehicle. The suspect, 23-year-old Makhei N. Aguilar, was later arrested in Richardson.
