San Antonio woman wanted by U.S. Marshals for violating federal release

San Antonio — SAN ANTONIO — The United States Marshals Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Tyyonna Lakia Sweat, a 41-year-old San Antonio woman who is wanted for allegedly violating the terms of her supervised release.

Sweat was convicted in 2022 of conspiracy to transport undocumented individuals into the United States, a federal offense for which she served a 24-month prison sentence. Upon her release, she was placed under court-mandated supervision for three years—a period she is now accused of breaching.

According to federal officials, Sweat tested positive for marijuana and cocaine and has failed to pay court-ordered fines, both considered violations of her release conditions. A federal warrant has since been issued for her arrest…
