MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office released the body camera footage worn by Investigator Alexander Zwinck during a traffic stop with Caroline Dias Goncalves, 19, on June 5.
Dias Goncalves, a University of Utah originally from Brazil, was later detained by ICE after the stop.
In the body cam footage, Zwinck gave Dias Goncalves a warning during the stop. He also asked her a few questions while filling out the warning including where she is from as he detected an accent. She told him she was originally from Brazil…
