2 men arrested after breaching Charleston International Airport fence

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Two men were arrested Tuesday afternoon after breaching a secure fence at the Charleston International Airport, the regional aviation authority reported.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 a.m., when airport dispatch received a report that two men from a nearby construction site were seen running toward the airport perimeter fence. The individuals managed to breach a secure airport fence, cross the apron and flee into a nearby wooded area.
