Thousands without power as storms affect parts Carolinas

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Thousands of Duke Energy customers are experiencing power outages as storms move through the Carolinas.

According to the power company, the following counties are experiencing outages as of 11:17 p.m. Tuesday:

  • 2,076 customers in Anderson County
  • 10,885 customers in Greenville County
  • 811 customers in Pickens County
  • 5,288 customers in Spartanburg County
  • 1,333 customers in Macon County
  • 130 customers in Polk County
