LMHA workers petition against privatization of public housing jobs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Maintenance workers at the Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) delivered a petition Tuesday, claiming the LMHA is outsourcing city jobs and demanding the organization put a stop to it.

Louisville Housing Authority workers testified at the LMHA Board meeting, calling on board members to protect tenants and city workers by halting subcontracts for city jobs.
