Young bear found in tree on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach

A young bear found in a tree in Myrtle Beach early Sunday morning was tranquilized and moved to a wildlife preserve, according to Myrtle Beach Police.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources was called in, and the bear was tranquilized after Myrtle Beach police responded to multiple calls of an adolescent black bear spotted in the area of South Ocean Boulevard.
