TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — Some residents are unsure about attending events and festivals like the upcoming Taylorsville Dayzz in light of several recent fatal shootings.
Officials at Taylorsville Dayzz, which runs from June 26-28, are focused on providing a fun, family-friendly celebration — but many remain concerned.
Wendy Silva, a Taylorsville resident, said Taylorsville Dayzz was once a place she felt safe dropping off her children. Now, she’s on edge.

“I feel a lot of people are going to be hesitant about it,” she said. “I personally would not go. It’s just uneasy.”…
