Two investigations by Springfield Police continue after a series of shootings occurred just nine hours apart on the same street over the weekend, which left one person dead and sent two more to area hospitals.
The first incident took place Saturday evening when officers responded to a call at 6:46 p.m. for reports of a shooting on 21st Ave. near Main Street.
