COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. — Lane County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a vehicle crash on June 13 that saw search teams locate both a driver and a fully submerged vehicle.
According to LCSO, deputies were on the scene at 10 p.m. along London Road just South of Cottage Grove, where there were signs of a crash.
LCSO’s Search & Rescue Dive Team was then deployed near water just off London Road, where a vehicle was found fully submerged but not occupied. Later in the search, the team discovered the driver on shore unconscious but also unscathed from the crash…
