Beyond 1865 — Rooted in Resilience, 2025’s Juneteenth event, will be an afternoon full of food, activities, music, and fun at the Eugene Farmer’s Market Pavilion. The event is free to attend, family-friendly and will highlight the wide array of Black-owned businesses in Eugene.
“Having Black-owned businesses and organizations be recognized, and giving them the space to network and find customers is amazing,” said Shanaé Joyce-Stringer, who is planning her second Juneteenth event in the city.
There will be 38 businesses and organizations at the celebration. Small businesses like Gem n Eye Gifts, Bracelets by Lala and Artistic Ambush will be selling goods for event-goers to browse, and Stormie True and Roszelia Woods will be performing live music…
