A dozen more homeless in Easton’s Huntington Apartments blaze

The amount of folks seeking food, shelter and other help has nearly doubled since a blaze torched the upscale Huntington Apartments Monday evening in Downtown Easton.

Cristina Maisel, regional communications manager for the American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania Region, told lehighvalleylive.com Wednesday morning the organization’s Disaster Team now is assisting a total of 21 adults and five children.

That figure is up from a total of 14 people being assisted by Tuesday afternoon, she said…
