Officer, patrol cars struck in Highway 52 crash

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – An officer with the Goose Creek Police Department was struck by a vehicle during a chain-reaction crash early Wednesday morning.

The officer had a vehicle pulled over in a northbound lane on Highway 52 near the “twin bridges, a stretch of overpass between Goose Creek and North Charleston, around 3:30 a.m.
