Designated drinking area opening in Downtown Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Downtown Evansville announced the launch date for the designated drinking area for the downtown area.

Officials say the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, or “DORA,” will allow 21-year-olds and older to buy alcohol from approved businesses and carry them outside.
