INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were shot during a dispute over a car purchase on the southwest side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 6900 block of Stanley Road around 9:36 p.m. to assist with a dispute between neighbors. While police were on their way to the scene, dispatchers received a report that indicated a shooting had occurred at the location police were headed to.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located two adult males with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. IMPD initially reported that both men were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
