Increase in High School Equivalency Diplomas following pandemic

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The number of people graduating from the state’s “High School Equivalency Diploma” program is leveling off after spiking the last several years.

On Monday, around 80 graduates walked across the stage at Kirkwood Community College to receive their HSED. Something many of them never thought they’d be able to accomplish.
