The mother of a Coralville man who was shot and killed at Western Hills Mobile Home Court last week was arrested for breaking into a trailer at the same court and threatening to kill a police officer.
Carrie Latham is charged with third-degree burglary and first-degree harassment. She was arrested Friday night, according to court documents, when officers found her in a trailer that didn’t belong to her.
Police say no one else was in the trailer and Latham was “looking for items that do not belong to her.” The owner of the residence was contacted and told officers no one else should be inside the home at the time…
