2 caught hunting deer from Polk road lead deputies on chase to orange grove: sheriff’s office

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Two people were arrested early Thursday after deputies said they were caught hunting deer from a Polk County road and led deputies on a chase.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission officer tried to stop a driver in a silver Ford F-150 who was spotted hunting deer from the roadway using a gun and a light.
