As Juneteenth approaches, the City of Easton recognized the achievements of Black residents during the second annual Juneteenth awards.
The awards, created by Councilman Frank Pintabone last year, spotlighted Frances Ketchen and Herman Swint. The families of the recipients wrote an excerpt on each of them, which Pintabone read at city council’s meeting last week.
