A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:36 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 2:30 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County.
Residents can be ready for wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 1:36 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Albion, or 13 miles southeast of Conneaut, moving northeast at 45 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
