Anne Burrell, celebrity chef from Upstate NY, dies at 55

Cazenovia native Anne Burrell, who started her culinary career in Syracuse and later became one of America’s best-known celebrity chefs, has died at age 55.

Burrell, sporting her trademark spiky platinum hair, was most familiar for her longtime role as host of The Food Network’s “Worst Cook in America” and other shows.
