Elsmere Man Caught in Bold Utility Theft and Vandalism Spree!

NEW CASTLE, DE — A man from Elsmere has been arrested following an investigation into a series of thefts and vandalism incidents targeting a public utility pump station in New Castle County.

According to authorities, between May and June 2025, multiple thefts and acts of vandalism were reported at a pump station located on Sears Boulevard in Wilmington. Police allege that a hole was cut into the station’s fence and property such as sump pumps and radiators were either stolen or damaged in what appeared to be attempts to remove materials.
