The scent of sizzling bacon greets Georgia Les every morning at Les Brothers Restaurant — just like it did when she was 14, bussing tables for her dad.
“I grew up here,” said Georgia, now the manager of the Oak Lawn diner. “It’s very welcoming here, and we see a lot of regulars. We make everyone feel at home.”
This year, Les Brothers Restaurant, at 8705 S. Ridgeland Ave., turns 53. Opened in 1972, the family-run spot is still going strong, one skillet and smile at a time…
