ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Tyrone White, 22, for allegedly strangling a woman.
On May 18, around 2:40 p.m., officers were called to the 5200 block of Linden Road for reports of domestic violence. The woman told authorities she met White for the first time three days before the incident.
The situation escalated when the suspect bear hugged and strangled her, according to court records.
