Alaska State Troopers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that took place in Utqiagvik.
According to Alaska State Troopers, on Tuesday, a North Slope Borough Police Department officer contacted an adult male related to outstanding warrants. During the encounter, the officer discharged their firearm, striking the suspect.
