Lockheed Martin announces layoffs in Upstate

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Lockheed Martin announced they are laying off employees in the Upstate.

The company said layoffs were announced on Monday that will impact 10 percent, 180 employees, at the Greenville site.

“As a result of the Air Force’s decision not to extend the F-16 CONUS Depot contract, and to meet our customers’ needs for affordability in a cost-competitive environment, we made the difficult decision to conduct a limited reduction in force at our Greenville site”…
