According to a City of Mobile official, Animal Services is in the process of complying with the municipal court order, signed on June 11, to return 30 of 34 dogs removed from a home on Carter Avenue in the Trinity Gardens community on May 6.
The order requires the owner, identified as Marquis Jamer Nodd, to meet with the following conditions:
- Each dog must be properly vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian
- The owner shall agree to allow the City of Mobile Animal Services to inspect and monitor the shelter and care of these dogs for a year.
- The owner must pay for the costs of care, treatment and maintenance that the city has provided for the animals.
Four dogs, removed from the home on May 5, will stay in Animal Services’ custody and can be adopted out, rescued, or humanely euthanized if deemed necessary.
