ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A woman was arrested Wednesday night after a shooting at an Asheville apartment complex left another woman injured, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a gunshot victim around 8:52 p.m. at an apartment complex on Ascension Drive. When they arrived, they found the suspected shooter, identified as Alida Lynn Wright, 26, still at the scene, according to the Asheville Police Department. She was taken into custody without incident.
