Second suspect arrested in Shandor Street shooting

Working with Clarksville Police, the Spring Hill Police Department have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that injured a baby sleeping in her crib.

On June 16, 18-year-old La’Taveious Lee was taken into custody in Clarksville, charged as an alleged participant in the June 6 shooting on Shandor Street in Spring Hill. Lee is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and may face additional charges as the investigation progresses.

Investigators believe that around 1 a.m. on June 6, Lee intended to meet a 17-year-old suspect (whom SHPD arrested on June 12) for an alleged drug deal on Shandor Street. At some point the deal reportedly went sour and the suspects started shooting at each other, exchanging approximately 15 rounds…
