High winds, dry conditions prompt PG&E to expand planned power shutoffs

(FOX40.COM) — As winds pick up and temperatures rise, PG&E provided multiple lists of counties that may be affected by public safety power shutoffs in the next few days.

Due to high winds and dry conditions, a shutoff is required from June 20 to 21 for the following counties:

  • Alameda
  • Colusa
  • Contra Costa
  • Fresno
  • Glenn
  • Merced
  • Monterey
  • San Benito
  • San Joaquin
  • San Luis Obispo
  • Santa Clara
  • Shasta
  • Stanislaus
  • Tehama
  • Trinity
