The City of Prattville has placed a ban on the construction of mini warehouses and self-storage businesses.
The City Council passed the moved during its Tuesday night meeting.
The ban will last one year, unless the council votes to adjust the time, either shorter or longer, said District 1 Councilman Russ Sanders. The move was made because of the proliferation of the businesses in the city, he said…
