PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A wildfire in Lane County near Mapleton at the junction of Highway 126 and Highway 36 at prompted Level 3 “Go Now” evacuations, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday.
The evacuation levels for the Rice Road Fire are for the areas of Rice Road and Hilltop Road near Mapleton.
