Blessings barbershop carries on legacy, reflects on Juneteenth

EUGENE, Ore. Blessings is a Black-owned barbershop that’s been part of the Eugene community for over 25 years.

It was originally opened by Arnold and Shakelah Morgan. Today, it’s their children, brother and sister duo Maliya and Malik Morgan, who are carrying that legacy forward. For them, Juneteenth is about more than history. It’s about honoring where you come from and keeping that legacy alive.
