SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — A block party celebrating Juneteenth in downtown Spartanburg is honoring the symbolism behind the holiday.
The event, which began at 6 p.m. on South Daniel Morgan Ave. near Broad Street, has food trucks, live entertainment and educational tents.
It’s all a part of the City of Spartanburg’s Juneteenth Celebration Weekend.
