Pride in the Park Rainbows of good feelings light up the Friday Night Market

How do you find rainbows on a beautiful, gently warm evening, not a cloud in the sky? You glide through Rohnert Park’s Friday Night Market on the Avenue of Pride between canopied stands of dazzling rainbows adorning kiosks overflowing with smiling, happy vendors of love and goodwill.

Already glowing with a mutual feeling of friendship and a teasing notion of collegiality, the photographer and the scribbler quietly swallow their conversational companionship as they take in the row of good feeling, good fellowship, and, dare I say it, an aura of humanity and love.

On the right at the first booth, a beautiful young woman surrounded by musical instruments and all kinds of equipment, graciously pauses to tell her tale. Maiah Wynne, self-acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist holds out her card that promises her product: “Gorgeous, haunting indie-folk where every note and lyric penetrates deep into your skin.”…
