SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A few Greene County deputies took a refreshing pit stop at an 11-year-old boy’s lemonade stand in downtown Springfield Friday.
Tre Asbell, 11, was the one who greeted the deputies with the ice-cold drinks. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies also had the privilege of trying Tre’s lemonade last year.
“We love just making those connections anyway we can,” said Derek James with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. “We’re not always showing up when someone calls 911, we’re there to say hi, too.”…
