HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Eyewitness News spent time helping out the Women’s Addiction Recovery Manor (WARM) and Men’s Unity Lodge Sober Living.
For Eyewitness News, which is owned by Nexstar, Founder’s Day of Caring occurs each year in June. Staff members across Nexstar stations receive paid time-off for volunteer work in their communities. The choice of which organizations to support is made at the local level, and covers “a wide range of charities and social service agencies.”
This year, WEHT-WTVW is helping out at two Henderson-based addiction recovery centers.
