In a recent operation by Galt Police Department, a traffic stop led to the arrest of a 55-year-old Galt man on gun and drug charges. According to a social media post from the police department, officers pulled over Jeffrey Hickingbottom for vehicle code violations at 17:22 hours.
During the traffic stop, officers summoned a K9 unit to perform an “open air sniff,” which resulted in K9 Rex positively alerting to the presence of narcotics, as per the Galt Police Department’s post.
