Hamilton County urges residents to be prepared as ‘dangerously hot days’ are ahead

“Dangerously hot days” are ahead for Greater Cincinnati this weekend through early next week, and Hamilton County wants residents to be prepared.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington will issue an extreme heat watch from Sunday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 24, as heat index values are expected to soar above 100 degrees.

Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency says these temperatures can be dangerous for everyone, and especially harmful for the elderly, children, outdoor workers, pregnant people, people with chronic illnesses, and people on certain medications…
