Rogers Park was rattled by two armed robberies and an armed carjacking overnight. No arrests have been made.
The crimes began with a carjacking around 3:21 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Devon. A Chicago Police Department spokesperson said a 38-year-old man was sitting inside an SUV when the carjacker approached, brandishing a gun. The carjacker ordered the driver out of the vehicle and drove off.
