(WJW) — A Heat Advisory has been issued for Northeast Ohio. Dangerous heat will develop Sunday afternoon and continue through at least Tuesday. Heat indices could be as high as 104 degrees during the hottest time of day – between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. – on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Dangerous heat could continue into Wednesday too. Stay cool!

Additionally, it’s the official first full day of summer and Cleveland will have more than 15 hours and 11 minutes of daylight today. Right on cue, temperatures will soar into the upper 80s and low 90s this weekend.

Cleveland will hit 90 degrees for the first time this weekend. The average date of the first 90 degree day in Cleveland is June 21st. The first heat wave of the season is anticipated Sunday through early next week.
